New Premium Accommodation for Campsites
Expand your campsite with modern holiday houses – without having to completely redevelop your entire site.
- High-quality holiday houses for new target groups
- Gradual expansion possible
- Higher revenue per pitch
The camping market is changing
Many campsites are seeing rising demand for comfortable accommodation such as lodges, chalets and small holiday houses. Guests are increasingly looking for nature-based accommodation with more comfort than traditional pitches. Premium accommodation allows campsites to attract new target groups while achieving higher nightly rates. Rental accommodation often enables a longer season, as guests can travel independently of caravans or camping equipment.

More revenue per area
Holiday houses achieve significantly higher revenues per unit in many holiday regions compared to traditional pitches. Many operators generate revenue from a single rental unit that surpasses multiple traditional pitches.
Many campsites today integrate:
- Rental accommodation
- Chalets
- Tiny houses
- Premium lodges
The ScaleHousing system enables the integration of such accommodation in a structured, modular and scalable way.

Expansion without complete rebuild
Campsites do not need to be completely redeveloped. The modular system enables:
- Pilot cluster with a few houses
- Expansion in multiple construction phases
- Flexible integration into existing facilities
This way a project can start with a few units and be expanded later.

Suitable for which projects
Existing campsites with expansion areas
Holiday parks requiring modernisation
Tourism sites with development potential
Sustainable solid wood construction
The holiday houses combine modern architecture with durable solid wood construction. The buildings consist of a load-bearing CLT solid wood structure. Natural wood fibre insulation is applied externally and protected by a ventilated metal facade. This construction combines structural stability, natural insulation materials and a durable building envelope.

System advantages
Many campsites today integrate permanent rental accommodation such as lodges or chalets. The specific planning permission depends on the respective location and development plan and is assessed on a project basis.
Planning to expand your campsite?
Many campsites start with 3–5 houses and then gradually expand their facilities.
We would be happy to assess together with you whether your site is suitable for a project with modular holiday houses.
